Video Marketing

Q: What is a “video resume?”

A: Imagine if the interview had a child with the traditional paper resume. The child would be the video resume. Video resumes are a relatively new addition to the job seeking process. Essentially a video resume is a short 1-2 minute video where you get to talk about your strengths and how well you will work with the company you are applying to work for. It's the perfect accompaniment to the traditional cover letter and paper.
A good video resume can be hard to come by. First you will need to write your resume. Then you need find a camera. Then you will need to find good lighting, a good microphone, a computer to edit your resume on, etc. After you have all these things, you will then need to find a place to shoot, somebody who knows how to properly set up the lighting, somebody to operate the camera, somebody to edit it … it can become quite the process and quickly become very expensive.
You do have an alternative however. Here at KSET Studios, we will gladly help you film, light, edit, do sound, etc. for your video resume. We will have creative film students who are passionate about making your video look perfect working for you to make the process as easy as possible.
