And we're off...

After a service and fun-filled day on Friday, it's now time to dive into senior projects! Yay! I'm looking forward to hearing about all the wonderful and unique - and they are very unique - experiences in the coming weeks. A terrific way to start might be to share your first day experiences. Good luck!

  1. I got to Denmark on Saturday morning after flying over night from Toronto. The first two days were relaxing as I got to hang out with family and adjust to the hours. Today, when I woke up I first went to the supermarket to get myself food. Soon after eating, I went to watch the reserves (step under the pros) team play Randers FC. It was a fun game to watch at the training facilities right next to the stadium. Unfortunately, Lyngby, the club that I am training with, didn’t win. After watching the game I met with the u-19 coach and he showed me around and introduced me to several of the players and coaches. After getting introduced to the players, I got ready for a 2-hour training session, which was a lot of fun. We did several technical workouts and some running. To end the session, the coach had us scrimmage in small teams and because the games were so intense we ended up staying an extra 30 minutes. After practice my uncle picked me up and we went into the shopping mall in Lynbgy and got dinner and now we are preparing for a huge English Premier League game. Hope everyone’s first day was a good one!
